Of American origins, Stuart Weitzman took a liking to the craft of leather goods from a very young age, drawing patterns on behalf of his father at the family business. It was in 1986 that his eponymous brand was created and in 1993 he opened his first store in Las Vegas. Now internationally recognized and worn by top celebrities, his shoes honor craftsmanship. It takes no less than six to seven weeks to develop a model that will go through the expert hands of thirty artisans. Since the opening of the flagship store in New York in 1995, the brand has grown and is sold in over 65 countries, making Stuart Weitzman an irresistible designer.

Autumn/Winter 2016-17 Collection
This is a collection that plays with genres, a masculine-feminine style proposed by Stuart Weitzman this season. The collection offers a line made up largely of boots, always revisited, decorated with studs and fur. He redesigned the hiking boot, giving it a chic and feminine silhouette. Comfort is in the spotlight, between flat heels and block heels the designer transmits a campaign that is just as sporty as successful. He wants to recreate the woman as "strong, sexy, powerful," according to the famous model Gigi Hadid who appeared again in this season’s campaign, for a collection that reflects a free and dynamic spirit.
